19 of the Russian's 21 victories have been earned on hardcourt
A revitalized Daniil Medvedev secured his first trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over opponent Moutet in the competition final.
Medvedev, a former top-ranked player, has had a challenging year, winning just a single victory at the Grand Slams and undergoing a setback at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the professional circuit - and issues with his service game in particular - led to him falling of the world's top 10 and ultimately parting ways with long-term trainer Gilles Cervara.
Now training with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has steadily improved in the recent weeks - climaxing in a tightly fought competitive victory over Frenchman Moutet.
It is the player's maiden championship following the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hardcourt from March of that year.
The win also means Medvedev has achieved twenty-one championships at twenty-one various competitions.
"For the first time I have attended a competition with my both daughters together, so to get a trophy is especially meaningful," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in tribute of my second daughter Victoria, because the initial championship I got when my first daughter her name was delivered was for her."
The athlete, the former major winner, had been defeated in his previous six championship matches, comprising in that event in the past months.
Medvedev's retrieving strategy and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had prompted some to question if his skill to compete at the top level was concluded.
Yet the player has altered his approach in recent weeks, attempting to approach the net and perform assertively, reinforced by an enhanced serve.
Medvedev came back from a break down in the opening set against the tricky Moutet, taking 4 of the concluding five exchanges to go ahead.
The pair traded break points in the following set before the challenger, attempting for his first tour championship, seized the initiative to create a final set.
Moutet rescued 4 initial opportunities in a tight deciding set before Medvedev secured a break to fifteen to secure the win.
Appropriately, the winner clinched the win with a rally at the net, with the Frenchman unable to manage a return after a lengthy match.
